We are an all-volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to fund groundbreaking cancer research and help advance the understanding of cancer development and progression.

The Mays is transforming how it carries out research for our South Texas community by addressing the nation’s most pressing cancer concerns and is the only cancer center in Central and South Texas whose research excellence is recognized by the National Cancer Institute (NCI).

The Mays works closely with more than 4,000 newly diagnosed cancer patients each year and has more than 1,500 cancer patients participating in clinical trials.
