Through fundraising, every penny raised goes directly to the Mays Cancer Center, home to UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson.
The Mays is focused on cancer patients’ health and well-being, through expert, compassionate care and support services. The Mays works closely with more than 4,000 newly diagnosed cancer patients each year, including their families and caregivers to understand needs and make the journey as stress-free as possible. In addition, the Mays has more than 1,500 patients participating in clinical trials.
If you’re a cancer patient or caregiver, The Mays Cancer Center care teams understand that navigating through the treatment and recovery process can be overwhelming for you and your family.
They’re with you from your first appointment, when you meet with your oncology nurse navigator, through diagnosis and treatment to survivorship and your life after cancer. The Mays Cancer Center works to ease your burden with services and support to make your experience as comfortable as possible.
The oncology nurse navigators play a key role in your care at Mays Cancer Center. They work closely with you to help overcome any barriers you may experience in receiving care.
